Chemical Genomics Facility

Overview of Services

The Chemical Genomics Facility (CGF) is a facility at the Purdue Insitute for Drug Discovery. The mission of the CGF is to provide expertise and resources to investigators from Purdue and others to access to the state-of-the-art technologies and instrumentation in high throughput screen (HTS) and high content screen (HCS) to facilitate the identification of chemical and genomic tools to study biological pathways and the discover of lead agents for the development of novel therapeutics an ddiagnostic approaches. The faicility provides provides services through all stages of a screening campaign, from assay development through data analysis. These services include the following:

• Consultation and assistance in assay development, implementation, validation and miniaturization specific to the target of interest;
• Chemical libraries including diverse drug-like small molecules, targeted libraries, fragment libraries, natural products and their derivatives, and known drugs and bioactives, all pre-plated and ready to screen;
• Instrumentation for HTS and HCS, including liquid handling robots, plate readers, automated imager and image analysis platform;
• Assistance with dose-dependence determination and analysis of biomolecular interactions (hit confirmation and validation);
• Assistance with data analysis and structure search will be provided as needed.
