Overview of Services

Located in the Bindley Bioscience Center, the Purdue Genomics Core Facility provides a full range of nucleic-acid sequencing and analysis services:

  • Next-generation sequencing on the Element Biosciences AVITI (in-house) and Illumina NovaSeq X (through our partnership with the IU Center for Medical Genomics).
  • Long-read sequencing on Oxford Nanopore (MinION / GridION).
  • Single-cell library preparation using 10x Genomics chemistries on our Chromium X controller.
  • WideSeq — an inexpensive full-plasmid and amplicon sequencing service.
  • Nucleic-acid QC — Qubit fluorometry and Agilent TapeStation (RIN / DIN).
