A vehicle is needed for student and staff transportation to field work and meetings with Indiana Department of Transportation. Travel to roadway construction sites and deployment of experimental equipment requires a 4WD vehicle with strobe lights that allow students and staff to pull further over to the ste of the road, to deploy trailer cam equipment in optimal, safe locations not accessible by 2WD, and to navigate off-road behind contraction barricades and barriers when necessary. Student safety will be greatly discussed with the use of this specially equipped vehicle.
